Our Services

Eye Exams

Through our comprehensive eye exams, every patient can expect to receive a thorough examination of their eyes to determine any necessary prescriptions, implement therapeutic plans, and enhance overall vision performance.

Children’s Eye Exams

We believe a child’s ability to see clearly is key to learning and development. As a result, we welcome children of all ages to our office. Using a combination of instrumentation and exam technique, we’ll ensure the whole family is seeing at their best.

Contact Lens Evaluations

During our contact lens evaluations, we’ll construct a detailed map of the corneal surface of your eyes, perform a complete visual examination and make necessary adjustments to existing prescriptions. Through this process, we’ll recommend contacts that will have the most natural fit, maximizing both vision and comfort.

Conditions Treated

We treat all refractive vision disorders, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia, and amblyopia. We also manage all diseases of the eye including cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, dry eye, seasonal allergies, non-healing wounds, acute and chronic eye pain, and many more. For more information or to schedule a consultation, please contact us.

Ortho-K

Orthokeratology, or Ortho-K, is an exciting new approach in the treatment of certain vision problems including farsightedness, nearsightedness and some cases of presbyopia. Instead of traditional fixes like glasses, contact lenses and LASIK surgery, Ortho-K is a nonsurgical procedure that corrects vision by working to reshape the curvature of your eye while you sleep.

If you’re a candidate for Ortho-K, you’ll first be fitted for specialized contact lenses that will act as molds for your corneas. Wearing these lenses at night will help to reshape the eye and correct your vision while you sleep, producing a noticeable improvement in sight that can last up to several days at a time.

If you’re interested in learning more about Ortho-K treatment, contact us today to book a consultation.

Scleral Lenses

Scleral lenses, which rest on the sclera (or the “white of the eye”) as opposed to the cornea, are a great solution for many patients, including those with corneal diseases, corneal surgery complications and dry eyes, as well as for those who continue to experience vision problems with traditional contact lenses. These prosthetic lenses have been shown to provide both sustained comfort and sharp clarity of vision.

As a member of the Scleral Lens Education Society, Dr. Gross is able to provide Perspective Eye Center patients with the latest in scleral lens technology. Scleral lens evaluations and fittings typically last between one and three hours, during which medical and ocular records are reviewed and an array of tests are performed to determine the best course of treatment. If you’re interested in learning more about scleral lenses, schedule a consultation with us.
